NLA Sports and VAVI are proud to bring the ROC RACE to the Irvine Great Park on July 13th.   The ROC race is all about the FUN! The goal is have the participants look back after the race and only be able to describe the obstacles as “RIDICULOUS”! We took a 5k course and combined it with the crazy game show themes from favorites like Wipeout, American Gladiators, Double Dare and MXC. WHAT IS THE ROC RACE?

The ROC Race is an event that combines a 5K course with game show inspired obstacles to give you the craziest run ever! Anyone 13 and up can participate no matter what your athletic ability is! All runners will receive a finisher T-shirt!

Start times

*If you register for the morning, you will either run at 8am, 9am, 10am, or 11am. If you register for the afternoon, you will either run at 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm or 4pm. You will receive an email at least 2 weeks before the race with your designated start time. Please make sure you are available to run at any of the start times in your wave as there are no refunds.

If you want to ensure you get the same start time as your friends, make sure you sign up as a team! If you signed up as an individual and want to be grouped with someone, email us at info@rocrace.com. Please note, requests are not guaranteed, but we will do our best to accomodate you.

It’s time to hit the slopes again for our 8th Annual Big Bear, Boarding, & Beer Pong Weekend! February 21-24th. Yup, Thursday – Sunday.

That’s right – 4 days and 3 nights of fun in the snow. We leave Thursday afternoon the 21st and stay till Sunday afternoon the 24th. Like before, we’ll be staying in a big house with all the comfortable ammenities like electricty, pillows, spoons, and toilet paper.

And by big house, I mean REALLY BIG. We’ve got the same super f*cking epic mansion from last year – 3 STORIES, OVER 7000 SQUARE FEET, AND ENOUGH BEDS TO SLEEP 50 plus. It is officially the biggest house/mansion in Big Bear, and we’ve got it!

All you need to bring is your toothbrush, warm clothes, and a sleeping bag. If you have snowboarding gear, even better. Otherwise you can rent up there (fairly cheap). Breakfast, 2nd breakfast, lunch, noonsies, afternoon tea, dinner, supper, & dessert for all nights and days will be provided and is INCLUDED in the price, so make sure you come hungry too. Thanks Erin!

There are only 55 spots, so please let me know ASAP if you would like to join us. House has been booked. Cost per person for the entire 4 Day/3 Night Weekend will be $140 per person – and that INCLUDES ALL MEALS and TONS OF BEER! (We’re getting kegs this year)

Be sure to get Thursday and Friday off of work. You are getting plenty of notice! Rideshare and carpooling has not been a problem in the past, and I’m sure we can all work it out again.
